The Ultrasounds

Ultrasound #1

Our first ultrasound was on November 29th. We wanted to record it but they had signs up everywhere saying that you couldn't. But it was SO fun! The second she put the ultrasound to my belly it was BAM there is a baby! The Dr was telling me I was about 9 or 10 weeks along so I didn't think I would be able to tell what things were on the ultrasound but we sure could!

He was moving all around the place. He really was a bouncing baby boy:)

Turns out I was a few weeks further along than the Dr had told me when he checked me only a week or two before. 13 weeks!

Brady held my hand as we just watched in awe. It was probably the best day of my life up to that point. I was really overwhelmed with joy and tears fell down my face as we watched our baby on the monitor.

They just flipped a switch a our baby was in 3D. I really wasn't expecting this.

Even though I was only 13 weeks along the ultrasound tech asked us if we wanted to know the sex.  Another thing I was not expecting. And as you can tell it was pretty obvious it was a BOY!

Ultrasound #2

The Second Ultrasound was was on January 3rd 2013. Much like the first it was really fun and we loved every moment we had to spend seeing our little baby.

According to the pregnancy week-by-week book I have the baby should only be 7 1/2 inches long and 10oz. But the Dr said our little guy was in the normal range.

I have a theory that he is huge! That's how I imagine him when I look down at the huge growth around my mid-section.

He is getting pretty big and you can see his face in these pictures. Reminds me a little of my nephew Easton from these angles.

This one reminds me of a puppy.

Twice it's been confirmed that its a boy so we're gonna stick with it even though they say it's not 100% accurate. How could that not be accurate?

As of today 02/08/2013 I can still button my pants... if I am standing and remain standing. Otherwise I get a grumpy little guy kicking me in the bladder.

These are just some cute outfits we bought already. Soon there will be a little person to fill it out and I can't wait!

I love me some whales!

I can't help myself!
