Viva Las Vegas!

As of yesterday March 31st 2012 we (Brady and I) have decided to move to viva Las Vegas for Brady to attend the William S. Boyd School of Law at UNLV! We are very excited to live near family and for the scholarship Brady received. It's going to cover 2/3rds of tuition and we weren't even expecting to get any kind of scholarship. He was actually offered a couple scholarships and fee waivers to a lot of other schools too. I have such a smart husband and I am so proud!

The other schools we were considering were the U of U, where he was wait-listed, and Syracuse in New York State where he was given a scholarship as well. 

Syracuse even sent Brady a T-shirt they wanted him so bad.

At Syracuse we would have paid about the same amount in tuition as we would in Las Vegas. We would have loved to live on the East coast and experience life as New Yorkers. Its been so hard deciding but after praying and trying to figure out which school is the best for us we finally made the choice. We had so many times where we were like I feel good about one school and then moments later feel the complete opposite. So after weeks of deliberation it is such a relief now that all that is behind us. In the end it just seemed like the best choice for us to choose a school that was close to family and had a higher ranking. 

Brady is still pursuing the U of U, he has a Skype interview on the 10th. We aren't sure what we will do exactly if he gets accepted there, but it is a great school and we would be close to family there as well. Making choices is rough especially when all the choices are GOOD choices! Its the good, better, best situation.


Now that we are going to be living in Las Vegas we expect lots of people to come visit us on the weekend!
