So my baby birds have begun to hatch today! They are oh so very ugly but when I first saw them they took my breath away and I had to call my husband right away to give him the news about the new additions to our family. I am in LOVE and now officially attached.
I pretty sure these birds will eat bird seed so I put some out on our front porch. I kinda feel responsible for them now so I wanted to make sure the mom and pop have enough food to give their chickadees.
That's so fun! What kinds of birds are they?
ReplyDeleteThey really are so very ugly but congratulations! We had another nest start and once again get blown down and the egg shatter...the kids were not too happy about it! I'm glad you've had better luck there in Utah!
